About the Author: Brent McNitt

Brent McNitt is happily married to his wife Heather, and is father to three strong, independent daughters. While this story is fiction, the names of the three characters were taken from his own girls. The experience of moving to a new school (even though none his daughters actually went through this) was a profound on his life, as he himself moved to a new town when he was younger. Although the school and characters are also fictional, Brent set the story in Paw Paw, Michigan, where he and Heather raised their girls.
